Right now, there may be someone in your community who is going blind, but won’t seek help for lack of money and insurance. That’s where the Lions of Alabama step in.
For more than 60 years, the Lions Clubs of Alabama and partners have been saving sight through Alabama Lions Sight Conservation Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Alabama Lions Sight funds medically necessary eye care for eligible individuals and provides vision screenings for thousands of children and adults every year.
It’s instant. The minute you tell someone, “Yes, we can help,” you can actually see that person’s life change. You see it in the form of a hopeful smile. Sometimes even tears of relief. Just from those simple words.
It’s good to be a Lion.
