In addition to the generous contributions we receive from Lions Clubs,
foundations, corporate sponsors, and individuals, Alabama Lions Sight raises money by holding several fundraisers throughout the year.
In the fall, Alabama Lions Sight sponsors Candy Day. Lions Clubs go to public venues and hand out candy, while accepting donations. Last year's Candy Day raised more than $6000 to help the medically indigent with their eye care needs.
During the holidays, Alabama Lions Sight holds a direct campaign, collecting money from caring businesses and well-off citizens of Alabama.
Our major fundraiser, The East-West All-Star Baseball Tournament is held every May. East-West showcases high-school baseball talent from around the state, while raising money for Alabama Lions Sight.
